Born and raised in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, Nicholas Daniels is an industrious VFX professional with a solid background in visual imagery in an array of digital mediums. His career began in 2007 in Dalton, Massachusetts working for LQ Studios and creating architectural renderings for Tom Patti Studios. He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to study Electronic Media with an emphasis in Film and Digital Animation, then later graduated Full Sail University to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and continue his career in VFX.
Nicholas relocated to Los Angeles in 2011, where his skills have been employed at multiple small and mid-size facilities. His knowledge as a look-dev, lead, and supervisor helped in the establishment of methodology, pipeline creation, and team management on a variety of projects. His work has been shown in a wide gamut of formats in Film, Television, and Commercial where his participation was emphasis on compositing to final image.
Today his works focus on fast-paced and high-end visual effects in television and commercial media. Nicholas’ experience across 2D and 3D vfx workflows make him a particularly dynamic asset to Zoic Studios, with the ability to cross-examine methodology and execution whether on set or in post his involvement ensures a well executed experience for the team.
